AHF50 Preview


Here is a brief summary of the AHF50 Issue which is the April/May Edition of Affordable Housing Finance. There is still time to participate as an advertiser. It is the largest issue of the year so far...and growing! Give us a call for more info. 


THE AHF 50: 
Affordable Housing Finance will reveal its exclusive lists of the Top 50 affordable housing developers (based on units started in 2011) and Top 50 affordable housing owners. This year, we will also present a list of top developers working on the preservation front. 


FINANCE: 
New Markets Tax Credits
Freddie Mac: Jerry will be taking a look at the latest rates and terms in Freddie Mac’s Targeted Affordable Housing Network, including New Issue Bond Program and preservation loans.
ASSET & PROPERTY MANAGEMENT: 
The digital divide is becoming a thing of the past for low-income residents. Bendix is expanding on the topic from a recent 365 Connect study on online resident usage.
REGIONAL REPORT: WEST

  • Life after Redevelopment Agencies: Donna surveyed and talked with several developers in California about their future pipelines without the RDA funding.
  • Abode Housing has joined forces with the LA Unified School District to provide housing. U.S. Bank provided debt and equity for the project.
  • Wasatch Advantage Group is providing workforce housing in Salt Lake City. Goldman Sachs was the direct LIHTC equity investor.
